This policy describes what Business Adjacent LLC actually collects across its products today, and who processes it. It is deliberately short because the list is short.
1. What we collect
- Email addresses you submit through signup or early-access forms on our product sites.
- Workspace content you add to ReviewTube: videos, review comments, and the related workspace data needed to run your workspace.
- Guest reviewer details. When a workspace shares a review link, a guest can leave comments using an optional display name so their feedback can be attributed. No account and no email address are required to review as a guest. The workspace owner controls that content; we process it on their behalf (see the Data Processing Addendum).
- Billing information when you purchase a paid product, collected and processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Our infrastructure providers also process standard technical logs (such as IP addresses and request metadata) to serve and secure the products.
2. How we use it
We hold ourselves to one bright line: what you put into the products is never what we learn from.
- Your content is yours — we don't read it, and we don't learn from it. Workspace content (such as ReviewTube videos and review comments) is processed only to deliver the feature you asked for. No person at Business Adjacent looks at it unless you explicitly ask us to during a support request, we need to review specific content that has been reported to us as infringing, unlawful, or a security threat, or the law compels us. We do not use your content to improve the products, and we do not use it to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. (If you share content with us to troubleshoot a problem, we use it to fix that problem — nothing more.)
- Operational metadata is how we improve. Counts, sizes, durations, error rates, which features get used, what your workspace costs us to run. We keep per-account usage and cost records to operate your account; when we analyze metadata to improve the products, we work with it in aggregate, and it never includes your content. That is what we use to make the products faster, more reliable, and priced from what they actually cost to run. We improve the factory by watching how the machines run, never by reading what you put through them.
Account data (your email address, billing details) is used to provide and operate the products, to send transactional email (such as signup confirmations), to send the updates you signed up for (for example, a launch notice if you joined a waitlist; every such email includes a way to unsubscribe), and to handle billing. We do not sell personal data, and we do not run third-party advertising.
3. Who processes it
| Processor | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, DNS, and edge infrastructure |
| Supabase | Application database |
| Stripe | Payment processing |
| Resend | Transactional email delivery |
| Amazon Web Services (SES) | Email delivery infrastructure we are phasing in; listed here before it processes any customer data |
| Anthropic | AI assistant features, only when you use them; your content is not used to train models |
| Google Fonts | Web font delivery on our sites (receives visitor IP address and browser metadata) |
No AI training. We never use your content to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. Where a feature sends content to an AI provider to serve a request you make, the provider is listed in the table above, and your content goes to it only under terms that prohibit training on your data.
We are a US company. Data is stored and processed in the United States (our database region is us-west-2); Cloudflare serves and caches traffic through its global edge network.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use functional cookies only (for example, session cookies in products that require sign-in, and an internal preview cookie on this site). No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Beyond the font delivery noted above, we run no analytics or tracking scripts of any kind, not on this site and not in our products today. If that ever changes, this policy changes first.
5. Retention and deletion
We keep personal data for as long as needed to provide the products. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted, email legal@businessadjacent.com and we will respond to every request. We may need to verify your identity first, and we keep what the law requires us to keep (for example, billing and tax records).
If your information was added to someone else's workspace (for example, you reviewed a video as a guest), the workspace owner controls that data. You can contact the workspace owner directly, or email us and we will route your request and assist them in honoring it.
Data removed from live systems may persist in database-provider snapshots for up to 7 days, and in our encrypted off-site backups for up to 30 days (daily backups) and up to 12 months (weekly full backups), before those backups age out automatically.
6. State privacy laws
Business Adjacent LLC is a small business as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, so most obligations of the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act do not apply to us (and we sell no personal data of any kind, sensitive or otherwise). We are also below every threshold that triggers the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor access, correction, and deletion requests from anyone regardless of where you live: email legal@businessadjacent.com.
7. Children
Our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, email legal@businessadjacent.com and we will delete it.
8. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access to production systems is restricted, secrets are managed outside of source code, and we keep audit logs of secrets access and of administrative actions taken through our products. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify affected users without undue delay, consistent with Texas law. Report security issues to security@businessadjacent.com.
9. Changes
If our practices change (new data, new processors), this policy changes first. Material changes will be noted on this page.
